This week in Florida, a school bus careened out of control and crashed into a lake. Fortunately the students all made it out alive and well, thanks to the efforts of a ten year old boy.

The bus crashed through a signpost, hit a tree and landed on its side in a lake in Hillsborough County, just outside of Tampa. The driver of the bus blamed the crash on faulty brakes.

As the bus lay in the lake, ten year old Nicholas Sierra sprang into action, helping his classmates off the sinking bus. Witnesses say Sierra carried several smaller children out of the bus on his back.

Kudos to Nicholas Sierra for a job well done. Obviously Pa Kent is not his adoptive father.
