This graph would have come in handy back when I was actually in college. Of course back then things may have been different, but somehow I doubt it.
I'm going to have to dispute their "mid-career pay" of $56,800, because I'm sure not seeing any amount like that. I guess I must not have reached my mid-career yet.
I have read other mid-level annual salaries being around $41,000 for Graphic Design. I believe this is more like it. I would also say, that when you consider the investment of education AND required overhead, the need for freelance skills, interning (no pay) and staying curent with your hip self and Apple,it is closer to that lower number on the list. I would also like to know the statistics on outstanding debt for Graphic Design graduates.
